Looking for help with your four legged family member but can’t find the time for group classes or need a more individualized approach? Then a private lesson may be just what you’re looking for!
Private Lessons Include:
A free, one time phone consultation to go over you and your dog’s needs as well as establish your training goals and any relevant history.
An individualized training plan specific to you and your dogs needs.
Flexible scheduling.
One-on-one time between the trainer, you, and your dog to work on your training goals.
Increased accountability with customized weekly/bi-weekly training tasks to help keep you and your dog on track to achieving your goals.
Check-ins between scheduled appointments to troubleshoot problem areas and provide continued support outside of lessons.
The opportunity to take the lessons “on the road” and work on proofing and generalizing your dogs training out and about.
What can be covered?
The beauty of private lessons is that they are completely customizable to you and your dog!
Topics could include, but are not limited to:
potty training and puppy manners, managing teenage rebellion (of the canine sort), behavior modification for problem behaviors, helping your dog with their “big feelings” (reactivity), basic obedience, trick training, being the perfect patio pup, dog sports foundations, and so much more - the possibilities are endless!
Lessons may be conducted either in person or virtually via Zoom depending on you and your dog’s needs as well as the trainer’s availability.
All private lessons are 45 minutes long and charged at a rate of $65 per lesson.
Clients requesting training services for more than one dog may utilize a multi-pet discount. Training packages are also available for purchase after the first lesson for the client’s convenience.
All private lessons whether virtual or in person are subject to a 24 hour cancellation policy.
Requests to cancel or reschedule a lesson must be made at least 24 hours prior to the start of the lesson to avoid a cancellation fee of 50% the cost of lesson or forfeiture of the lesson if a package was purchased.
Travel fees may apply for in person lessons if the client requests a lesson outside of the service area.
